Waiting on Wednesday

Hey guys!

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine that spotlights highly anticipated upcoming releases.

So here’s what I’m waiting on this week!

Letters to the Lost

Genre: YA, Contemporary
Publisher: Bloomsbury USA Childrens

Letters to the LostJuliet Young always writes letters to her mother, a world-traveling photojournalist. Even after her mother’s death, she leaves letters at her grave. It’s the only way Juliet can cope.

Declan Murphy isn’t the sort of guy you want to cross. In the midst of his court-ordered community service at the local cemetery, he’s trying to escape the demons of his past.

When Declan reads a haunting letter left beside a grave, he can’t resist writing back. Soon, he’s opening up to a perfect stranger, and their connection is immediate. But neither Declan nor Juliet knows that they’re not actually strangers. When life at school interferes with their secret life of letters, sparks will fly as Juliet and Declan discover truths that might tear them apart.

Why I’m Waiting

The synopsis of this one is what drew me in. It seems sweet but equally heartbreaking. I don’t know if my heart is ready for it, but I can’t wait none the less!

P.S. Brigid Kemmerer is the author of the Elemental Series.

What has you guys waiting this week? Let me know down below!

Until next time,

  1. I was a big fan of the Elemental series and was very excited to get approved for this book on Netgalley. Unfortunately, though, it was a pdf instead of an epub and I have an older version Nook and it wouldn’t format it to make the font a readable size. So disappointing that now I’ll have to wait ’til it’s at the library haha.

  2. I haven’t read anything by this author but I’m interested from your description. The cover is great too, perfect for the plot.
