I Love Suggestions | Top 5 Wednesday [24]

NEW-TOP-5-WEDNESDAY

Hey guys!

Welcome back to another Top 5 Wednesday! This fun weekly meme was created by Lainey over at GingerReadsLainey. If you want to join in the fun and be apart of the #T5W … you can find all the details at the GoodReads page.

This week’s topic is Top 5 Books Suggested to Me.

Everyday thanks to book blogging and conversing with the book community I am at least adding a new book to my TBR. I love reading books that other friends and bloggers love! Makes me feel connected with them and getting to know their tastes a little better. So these are the top 5 suggested books from friends and fellow bloggers that I absolutely loved!

5. Saga by Brian K. Vaughan

Saga Vol. 1

I honestly can’t remember who recommended this graphic novel to me but I know it was when I was asking around for suggestions on good graphic novels to read! This series of graphic novels is so EPIC that I can’t contain my excitement for them!

4. The Demon King by Cinda Williams Chima

The Demon King

My cousin who lives across the country recommended this book to me years back when I wasn’t really reading as heavily as I am now. So I finally picked it up last year and loved every minute of this story!

3. The Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo

This series has been on a lot of bloggers, blogs. I just kept hearing amazing things about this series and everyone was saying I would LOVE Nikolai. And guess what? I did… I guess I’m that predictable!

2. Steelheart by Brandon Sanderson

Steel Heart

This one was recommended to me by Joey @ Thoughts and Afterthoughts! As I have never read any of Sanderson’s novels and am a huge fan of superheroes, Joey suggested I read it! It was AMAZING! Thanks Joey!

1. Red Rising by Pierce Brown

Red Rising

Again I can’t remember who suggested this book to me, or if I just stumbled upon Pierce Brown’s face all on my own. But every since reading it I have had endless conversations with fellow bloggers about how FUCKING EPIC this book is. Sorry for the language… but there was no other word to describe it! HOWLER’S UNITE!

I hope you enjoyed my Top 5 Wednesday this week. I recommend and suggest that you guys read any of these books if you haven’t already. AND PLEASE SUGGEST MORE TO ME!

Until next time,

Sig New

  1. Yessss I love Steelheart and Red Rising as well, as you know ❤ In fact, I think most books I've read and loved in my time blogging has been through word of mouth recommendations 😄 You guys are too dangerous for my bank account.

Have fun with Pierce tomorrow ❤
