HAPPY NEW YEAR + Update on Life

Hey guys!

First off I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year and I hope you all enjoyed yourselves last night. Looking back on 2015 it was definitely a wild ride. From living in a different city, to moving back home, changing jobs and starting this blog. There is so much more I want to achieve in 2016 as I assume most of us do. So let’s try our best and achieve our goals!

And now back to life… as many of you noticed (or haven’t noticed) I haven’t posted anything in over two weeks. That is all due to me catching the flu for the first time in my life. From what I thought was a cold, quickly escalated to the flu and border lined pneumonia.

In that time I was not able to muster the strength to post anything for my blog or read any books. But I did have a lot of time to think about some things. One of them being the amount of posts I create on a weekly basis. It has become too much for me. So from this point on I will be scaling back my posts to 3-4 a week. Hopefully this will give me more time to read books.

As for my reviews, I will only be posting them under two conditions: if I was asked by an author, or publisher to read a book for an honest review, or if I really have something important to say about the book (ex. something that really made me mad, or something that really made me happy/excited)

So I’m not going anywhere, I will just be around a little less!

Again, have a Happy 2016 everyone, and thank you for all your support over this last year!

Until next time,

Sig 3

  1. Happy New Year to you too, Jesse! I hope you are feeling better now! I know how sometimes something that seems like it’s nothing can spiral into something bigger :/
I wish you all the best for 2016 and it seems like you have a solid plan 😀

  2. I’ve been thinking about doing the same thing with the reviews! And all the other books I read just get put into one post at the end of the month and I write a paragraph or so on them. I don’t know yet tho… Wishing you a fantastic year! And I’m glad your over your cold!

      1. HAHA I don’t mind writing them, it just takes a while sometimes and they usually get the least amount of views/likes/comments so it can feel pointless. I’d rather just rant as well haha!

  3. Happy New Year, Jesse! I wondered where you were. I hope you are feeling much better now. I totally understand how being sick takes away from your productivity. I had dengue fever the first two weeks of December and I didn’t want to do anything at all. I’m glad you’re taking the steps to organize yourself so you have time to do all the things you want. I can’t wait to see what books are deemed worthy a review, I’ll be sure to read every one
