Favorite Fairytale Retellings | Top 5 Wednesday [17]

NEW-TOP-5-WEDNESDAY

Hey guys!

Welcome back to another Top 5 Wednesday! This fun weekly meme was created by Lainey over at GingerReadsLainey. If you want to join in the fun and be apart of the #T5W … you can find all the details at the GoodReads page.

This week’s topic is Top 5 Fairytale Retellings.

This week is going to be a bit tough. I will admit that I haven’t read a lot of retellings in any form. So number 4 & 5 on my list are books that I want to read that are retellings. Other then that, I hope you enjoy the ones I have chosen!

5. Spinning Starlight / Stitching Snow by R.C. Lewis

Spinning Starlight is a retelling of The Wild Swans and Stitching Snow is a retelling of Snow White.

4. The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh

The Wrath and the Dawn

The Wrath and the Dawn is a retelling of 1001 Nights.

3. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

A Court of Thorns and Roses

A Court of Thorns and Roses is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast.

2. Splintered / Unhinged / Ensnared by A.G. Howard

The Splintered Trilogy is a retelling based off of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

1. Cinder / Scarlet / Cress / Winter by Marissa Meyer

I hope you enjoyed my Top 5 Wednesday this week. Even though I haven’t read as many retellings as I would have liked, I still think this is a pretty good list! Let me know which ones are your favorites!

Until next time,

Sig New
