Sunshine Blogger Award | Books at Dawn

Sunshine-Blogger-AwardHey guys!

I was nominated by two amazing bloggers that everyone needs to check out now. They are none other Joey from Thoughts and Afterthoughts, and Emily from Embuhlee liest. Seriously they are awesome bloggers with great content! Take a look for yourselves!

Rules:
– Answer the 11 questions from the blogger who nominated you.
– Nominate some wonderful bloggers and write 11 questions for them to answer.

Joey wants to know:

Spot2If you’re in an epic fantasy, what does your war cry sound like before battle? (Spell it out!)

AHHHH-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA (How embarrassing)

Spot2Who is a villain you despise? Now imagine that your child looks up to this villain. How do you handle it?

Hmm, I actually admire most villains to be honest. But I think the one that I despise the most is the King from the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas. He is brutal, conniving, has zero morals what so ever.

If my child idolized him I would probably just question him or her and poke holes in their reasoning until they realize that is not someone to look up to.

Spot2You’re a bartender; concoct a drink with 3+ book titles in the name.

DEMON HEIR of DARKNESS

The Demon King + Heir of Fire + Gathering Darkness

The Demon King Heir of Fire Gathering Darkness

Spot2What is one book cover (minus text on it) do you think could fit another book.

Storm SirenThrone of Glass

STORM SIREN

————————————————————————————->

                                                                           THRONE OF GLASS

Spot2What’s a song you feel best fits a book hangover?

Shake it Off – Taylor Swift.

You just have to shake it off and move on. Don’t dwell on the awesomeness that was your last book!

Spot2You’re on commute surrounded by readers. You notice that some have cracked spines, others dog-ear their pages, a few annotate it. How do you feel?

I feel completely fine. Every reader is different and has different quirks. What might bother me might not bother them and so on. Now if I was on a commute with readers and they were reading my personal books… then I would be pissed. YOU DO NOT CRACK MY SPINES, DOGGY EAR MY PAGES OR WRITE YOUR GIBBERISH IN MY BOOKS. GOT IT?

Spot2Would you rather read the page at 25% or 75% (a play on first/last).

Probably 75%. I sometimes even read the synopsis of the sequel to the books I read because they might have spoilers. Yeah I’m a ruiner… so what.

Spot2Blogging-related. How do you find new inspiration?

I find new inspiration from the blogs I read. I find inspiration from what people are talking about.

Spot2Your ideal book-significant other (i.e. boyfriend/girlfriend) ends up being together with one of your friends. Your reaction?

NO ONE STEALS MY MAN. HANDS OFF. I’VE CLAIMED HIM ALREADY, MOVE ALONG NOW.

Spot2Of all the books on your shelves, which book would you hide something in (you can think about carving the pages out or not)?

I would probably hide my money in a book no one has ever heard of. That way they are most likely not to look in it.

Spot2Complete the phrases: “Reading is…”, “Blogging is…”, “[The] Community is…”

Reading is an adventure into a world not like your own.

Blogging is a tool to have your voice heard.

The Community is a place to belong with others like yourself. No judgements, just common interests.

Emily Wants to Know

SpotDo you drink coffee? If so, how do you take it?

Nope. I find it insulting to my taste buds. I prefer tea (any black tea except earl grey) and I take it with milk and sugar.

SpotWhat’s your favorite thing to do on a Saturday morning?

Most people would probably say, sleep in. But not me. I’m a early riser every day off the week. I usually spend my Saturday mornings reading or working on my blog.

SpotDo you have an interest or hobby that you don’t have anybody nearby who also likes it to talk and nerd about it with? What is it?

KPOP. No one I know in real life listens to KPOP as much as me and therefore I escape to the interwebs to fanboy about it!

SpotWhat is currently your favorite song?

My current favorite song is tied between Demi Lovato’s new single “Confident,” or Oh My Girls new single “Closer.”

Demi Lovato ConfidantOh My Girl

SpotWhat is currently your favorite movie?

It’s hard to say, but the best movie I have seen last would Maze Runner: Scorch Trials.

It was pretty awesome!

SpotHow spicy or not-spicy do you like your food?

Depends on the food. My white people food (ex. burgers, mashed potatoes, fries, steak etc) I like not spicy. But when I’m eating Korean or Portuguese food I like it as spicy as I can get it!

SpotWhat’s your favorite quote?

Quote Day 1

SpotWhat’s your style of clothing?

Model Model2

Just a couple examples of something you would find me in. But mostly in black and white and grey.

SpotDo you have a bucketlist? What’s your number one thing on it?

I don’t have an official bucket list no. But if I had to do something before I died it would be to publish a book.

Not so surprising.

SpotWhat’s your favorite food?

I have a strong liking for Korean food. I love Soon Tofu, Chigae, Dukkbokki, and authentic KBBQ.

Korean Korean2 Korean3 Korean4

Do you see all the spice! YUMMMMMMM ❤

SpotWhen’s the last time you bought a book?

Like a couple days ago. I work in a mall with a bookstore. This is a semi weekly process for me.

Also the reason why I never have any money. I work for books pretty much.

MY QUESTIONS:

Spot2You’ve committed a crime and are going to jail for life. The judge allows you to bring three books with you and those are the only three books you’ll be reading for the rest of your life. Which three are they?

SpotPick three characters from your favorite book and play the F*ck, Marry, Kill game.

Spot2You’ve been granted a magical power from the Gods. Which power is it and why?

SpotYou’ve been in a relationship with your man/women and things are getting serious, but out of the blue they ask you to choose them or your books. Which do you choose and why?

Spot2You’re being held at gun point but the shooter says he will set you free if you burn three of your books. Which three would you choose?

SpotHero, Assasin, or Prince/Princess? You can only pick one. Which do you choose to be in a story with you as the main character?

Spot2There is a new law coming into effect. It bans (insert genre here) genre from ever being read/written again. Which genre would you choose?

SpotWith wanting more diversity in books nowadays, what is one aspect you believe should be represented more and why?

Spot2Your favorite author is going to call you for a once in a lifetime chance to talk. You can only ask them one question. Who is the author and what is the question? Why?

SpotIf your favorite ship doesn’t end up together by the end of the book, would you give it a low rating and why?

Spot2Pick 6 of your favorite characters and pretend they were in a horror movie. Only one will be the survivor, four of them will die, and the other one will be the killer. Who is the survivor, the killer and in what order did the others die in?

That was fun right? I look forward to reading the answers of the people I tag.

Until next time,

Signature

  2. OMG I’ve been putting off this tag forever because I couldn’t come up with answers to Joey’s super hard questions! And now, I’ve got 10 more difficult questions to answer!! You guys are killing me! Btw I love how you just own your book spoileriness! Totally unapologetic 😀 Coffee is also insulting to my taste buds – I don’t understand how people can drink something that tastes like dirt.
