October 2015 TBR | Books at Dawn

October-TBRHey guys!

Look it’s October. One of my favorite months of the year! Why you ask? Well it’s in the middle of my favorite season, Autumn. As well, it’s also the scariest time of the year. If you know me, then you know I love horror movies and scary stuff in general. Although none of the books on the this months TBR are scary, that does not mean I won’t be enjoying some scary books if I come across some! So without further ado, here are the five books that are on my October TBR!

Hoping this month doesn’t fly by too quickly. I actually really want to get to every book on this list! Be sure to follow me on twitter to track my progress throughout the month: @BooksatDawn

  1. I adored Queen of Shadows so much, hope you enjoyed it! I started Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo yesterday and I’m so smitten, so I think I’ll have to give the Grisha verse a second spin. Happy reading!

  2. Hey Jesse! Awesome TBR! I’m also looking forward to reading Zeroes. If you’re interested in some “Halloween Themed” reads, a Goodreads group I’m in is reading The Raven Boys by Maggie Steifvater, Miss Peregrines home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs, and
Asylum by Madeleine Roux. Those are some ideas for you if you’re looking for some spooky themed books for the month. Also you should check out the group on goodreads, it’s called Booknerd Babes, they have a thread dedicated to the Throne of Glass series, lol. Here’s the link in case you may be interested https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/168156-booknerd-babes

  3. Jesse, you have the best TBR for October! I am literally jumping up and down with excitement that you’re going to be reading Queen of Shadows! Oh my goodness I hope it dissolves you into a puddle of feels and speechlessness as it did for me! Even thinking about it now makes my heart pound.
And as for the other books, I’ve heard such fabulous things about them, especially Zeroes which I think Joey really enjoyed!

Happy reading this month, Jesse! 😊
