Welcome back to another Comic Book Haul! Today I want to show you what I got this week in comics. I have always been a lover/reader/collector of all sorts of comic books and I canβt wait to show you which ones I got this week.
Fall is approaching us soon, so there has been a lot of rainy days here which means less frequented stops at the comic shop! But don’t fret, because there was one sunny day this week that I ventured out to pick up this weeks releases and oldies. My favorite cartoon, some sexy badass ladies, and a new superhero series!
So let’s see what they are!
Bob’s Burgers #3A & 3B
Writer: Brian Hall, Loren Bouchard, Rachel Hastings, Loren Bouchard and Anneliese Waddington
Artist: Tom Connor, Anthony Aguinaldo & Hector Reynoso, Steven Theis and Marcelo Benavides.
Publisher: Dynamite Entertainment
Release Date: September 3, 2015
Cover Price: $3.99
In the third issue of Volume 2 of the Bob’s Burgers Comic Book, we bring you more titillating tales from the Belchers! Louise discovers the wondrous wonders of the ride that stops time; Genederella is given a chance to attend a Joyous Jam Jamboree with the help of a special fairy; Tina brings us on a super-spy adventure to sabotage an evil villain; Bob’s imagination drives his latest Fantasy Food Truck; and Linda tries again to take a nice family photo in front of the restaurant.
Looks like more fun antics from the Belcher family this month!
DC Bombshells #2A & 2B
Writer: Marguerite Bennett
Artist: Marguerite Sauvage
Publisher: DC Comics
Release Date: July 29, 2015
Cover Price: $2.99
Pilot Steve Trevor goes head-to-head with Axis aircraft over unchartered waters. There, he encounters a race of super-powered women who are out to protect their island home from all intruders.
I definitely want these ladies protecting me from the baddies!
Plutona #1
Writer: Jeff Lemire
Artist: Emi Lenox
Publisher: Image Comics
Release Date: September 2, 2015
Cover Price: $2.99
A brand new heartfelt super-hero series by JEFF LEMIRE (DESCENDER, Hawkeye) and amazing newcomer EMI LENOX! PLUTONA follows the story of five suburban kids who make a shocking discovery while exploring the woods one day after school…the body of Plutona, the world’s greatest superhero. A dark and heartbreaking journey about friendship and coming of age all through the lens of the superhero genre.
This one is right up my alley with my superhero obsession!
There ya have it! My Comic Book Haul for the week. Let me know if you guys read any of these series and letβs spark a conversation!
Until next time,
I didn’t even know a Bob’s Burgers comic existed. xD And Plutona looks pretty good!

Yeah! It’s pretty much like having the tv show right in your hands in comic form! It’s really well done!

Bombshells looks ace… π I didn’t know comics were so cheap. I’ve always been put off by thinking they were Β£10 an issue.

The graphic novels might be around that price, but single issues are only a couple bucks. (I don’t know what 10 pounds is equivalent to in dollars.)

There isn’t much difference so that’s good to know, thanks π

Do you also watch Bob’s Burger? I’ve always plan to start it but end up sidelining it for another show. Most of the clips I’ve seen from Youtube were okay-hilarity too.

I love it. Tina is the show pretty much. But you’re a tough critic, so you may not like it π

Noooooooo. I’m not that tough π¦ Perhaps less critical for television (but not film). Ah, although with Fall television coming back, don’t think I’d get a chance to try watching Bob’s Burger </3
