Fantasy 101 | Top 10 Tuesday [7]

Top-10-TuesdayHey guys!

Welcome back to another Top 10 Tuesday weekly fun on my blog! Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. If you want to join in the fun, hop on over to their blog to see what it’s all about!

This week’s topic is Top 10 Fantasy 101 Books. I racked my brain hard this week to come up with a 101 syllabus for this weeks topic. Try as hard as I might, I couldn’t come up with one that is creative, so I went with the generic one. Honeslty though, if they actually taught this one when I was in University, I most likely would have taken and aced it! Maybe not aced it, but I would have actually enjoyed attending it!

Here are some NEW and some OLD and I decided to use three words to sum up the story:

10. Red Rising by Pierce Brown

Red RisingLeadership. Bravery. Vengeance.

9. Lark Rising by Sandra Waugh

  1. Not a single Brian Sanderson?! (shock, horror!) His Mistborn Trilogy (Well, at least the first 2 books) is epic! Seriously, interesting choices. Some I disagree with (*cough*Mortal Instruments*cough*), some I’ve never heard of, and some I completely agree on. Nice choices!

  2. I knew Falling Kingdoms would reign victorious on your list 😉 I really need to check out Orphan Queen but I love your other choices!!
