Comic Book Haul [#2]

Hey guys!

Welcome back to another Comic Book Haul! Today I want to show you what I got this week in comics. I have always been a lover/reader/collector of all sorts of comic books and I can’t wait to show you which ones I got this week.

Growing up I used to watch a ton of different cartoons. Like most boys I watched Pokemon, Digimon, Yugioh etc. But it was every Sunday that me and my best friend tuned into The Simpsons. And that is where my love for more adultish cartoons came from! Now as a full fledged adult I’m still watching shows like Futurama, American Dad, and of course The Simpsons. But my all time favorite is now Bob’s Burgers! So when I heard that they were going to be getting their own comic series I knew I had to jump on board and follow the crazy Belcher family nonsense!

Check out the 3 cool covers I got:

Publisher: Dynamite Entertainment

Bob’s Burgers is back for more! Join the Belcher family for the second-ever series of the Bob’s Burgers comic book! Brought to you by the producers and animators of the hit TV show, this series brings back your three favorite Belcher kids, along with some brand-new stories from the minds of Bob and Linda. Each comic includes new installments of Tina’s Erotic Friend Fiction, Louise’s Unsolved Mysteries and Curious Curiosities, Gene’s Rhymey Rhymes That Could Someday Be Songs, Linda’s Attempts to Take a Nice Family Picture in Front of the Restaurant (And How It Always Goes Wrong), and Bob’s Fantasy Food Trucks (If Money Were No Object).

Every once and a while I like to break away from the new comics and go on a hunt for some oldies! This week I hunted through bins and found these gems to add to my Archie Comics collection:

On a trip to Yellowstone National Park, Mr. Lodge’s private jet has to put down in the desert for repairs. While camping in Yellowstone National Park, Betty takes the time to tape more wildlife for her documentary.

There ya have it! My Comic Book Haul for the week. Let me know if you guys read any of these series and let’s spark a conversation!

See ya next time,

Jesse Nicholas
